Spring is here!

I don't know why I always knowingly sleep late on Wednesdays knowing I have to wake up at 6 in the morning... I was dazing off in all my classes oh man.. Barely had time to eat anything today, so much stuff going on with all my classes. At least it was a warm and at times sunny day :) can't wait till winter is finally over!


So today is St. Patty's day, nothing spectacular over here... Just had a nice quiet dinner at this fancy Chinese restaurant with the family, sister's treat, for our parents' wedding anniversary...32 years I think..damn. The food was filling, it was nice to have two personal servers for just our table of four :)

Uncertainty

I don't really know what to write about tonight. Tomorrow is my parents' wedding anniversary and my sister and I are taking them out for dinner. I have class and group meetings tomorrow, so I hope I will finish up early and make it for dinner. 


I'm still contemplating on what I should do once I'm done with my marketing degree. I'm going to HK for a month in May, and its kinda hard looking for a job when the start date is April or May so I hope I find one that starts July or August, or even September. I'm still interested in doing the teaching English overseas thing if nothing materializes, but I'm confused with the whole hiring process and I don't want to pay some recruiting agency a ton of money just to get a job. Perhaps I should research a bit more in April once I'm done with my courses and before I depart for HK.

Suspected of doing a nice deed

So....I drove to the subway station, where you now supposedly have to pay to park there, ok, so I did. When I got back from school, I asked this old looking white guy if he wanted my parking slip ticket.... First thing he says "I don't have any cash." Geeez, I was just going to offer it to him for free, but the first thing that came out of his old mouth and head was probably on the lines of "man, Asian people are soooo cheap, this guy probably trying to scam me." Yeah, he checks the stub out for a moment, unsure that it was real...I took it out of my dash in the car and handed to him, but he still had to triple-double check it if it was legit... I did a nice thing for you, saved you seven bucks, and not even a thank you, just a wtf look.


Tiring day, but awesomeness with the result today...Quarterfinals here we come! Also saw Battle LA tonight, it was very intense...somewhat confusing, I still don't know what those things are, robots? aliens? weird.

This was respectful of UEFA, to show a minute of silence before the kick-off of today's game between Manchester United and Marseille.

Brighter days ahead

Nothing really to mention today...but the weather is looking better, saw the sun for the first time all week! Although I didn't step out of the house til after dinner, I had my G-Star jacket on for the first time in awhile... Guess I might have to get the Goose dry cleaned and put away perhaps.


Champions League tomorrow!! Ahhh stupid day light saving time in North America, now its all screwed with Europe times, its on at 3:45 EST eww. I like it when it was 2:45 much better.

The Lazy Song

Nothing really.......but the final push to graduation is starting with the majority of group work due in 2-3 weeks! Its going to be a very stressful month! But HK is around the corner after finishing school!

Been listening to this Bruno Mars song on repeat last few days. The Lazy Song, its pretty catchy and sounds good like most of Bruno's songs except grenade.
